WQA’s Undesser Is Reelected to Association Forum Board

WQA Executive Director Pauli Undesser, MWS, CAE, has been elected to a three-year term on the Association Forum Board of Directors, effective April 1. Pauli is completing her second one-year term on the board of the 4,000-member organization that provides education, resources, and professional development opportunities for association professionals.

“We’re fortunate to have such talented, accomplished, and dedicated leaders in our community,” said Association Forum President and CEO Artesha Moore, FASAE, CAE, in a letter to Forum members. The 13-member board includes professionals from Chicago-area associations and supplier partners.

Pauli was named WQA’s Executive Director in January 2017 and holds a dual leadership role as Executive Director of the Water Quality Research Foundation. She has held several roles at the association, including Director of Regulatory and Technical Affairs, since joining it in 2007. Pauli received Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in 2015 through the American Society of Association Executives.

“I’m excited to be able to serve the Association Forum in its goal of advancing the professional practice of association management,” Pauli said.  “I am just one of many WQA team members who have benefitted from the Forum’s expertise and training, so it’s nice to pay it forward.”

Pauli was honored in 2018 with the Association Forum’s Inspiring Leader Award and in 2016 was named to its “Forty Under 40” list.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in Biochemistry from Northern Illinois University.

Founded in 1916, the Association Forum represents more than 44,000 association professionals from nearly 1,600 Chicago-area associations.
