Women in Standards Launches Website

The Women in Standards (WiStandards) is proud to announce the launch of the Women in Standards website. The website is the culmination of many months of research and development and will provide Women in Standards members with new resources to assist them in growing their skills, learning more about the many standards developing organizations (SDO) operating today, and networking with the broader community.

The website provides members with valuable education on standardization and conformity assessment, a directory of known SDOs including information on how to join standards developing committees and submit public comments for each, and an events calendar with over 160 events all around the world related to standards development.

Through the website and associated events throughout 2020 and beyond, Women in Standards looks forward to engaging with all contributors to the standards development process, raising the profile of women working in and contributing to standardization, and assisting in the next generation of standards development.
