Wisconsin Chapter Members Teach Local High School Students About Engineering

ASPE Wisconsin Chapter members Jill Imig, PE, EDAC, and Ray Schwalbe, PE, recently had the opportunity to share their love of engineering with about 40 students at Homestead High School in Mequon, Wisconsin. Homestead was named a U.S. News & World Report Best High School in 2020.

Jill is the Mechanical Department Leader and Ray is a Plumbing Engineer with HGA in Milwaukee. A Past President of the Wisconsin Chapter, Jill joined ASPE in 2006 and is currently the Corresponding Secretary and the Women of ASPE (WOA) Liaison for her Chapter. Ray joined ASPE in 2018.

“It’s great to see ASPE folks promoting our profession and industry, and the Wisconsin Chapter will continue to be a standout because of Jill and Ray,” says Wisconsin Chapter President Aaron Bock, PE, CPD, GPD, LEED AP, EDAC.

“I thought it was really good,” Ray says. “We had a great time!” Jill adds.
