Watts will host a customer webinar, Evolution of Mixing Valves & Hot Water Safety, on Thursday, November 19, at 1:00 p.m. EST. This is the next installment in the Watts® Works℠ Engineer Webinar Series geared specifically toward engineers, architects, designers, specifiers, and facility managers.

Mixing valves are a safe way to control water temperature to mitigate the growth of Legionella, reduce the risk of scalding, and conserve water in a plumbing system. During this webinar, Watts industry subject matter expert Todd McCurdy will discuss:

About the Speaker

Todd McCurdy is the Watts Business Development Manager, Tempering – East Division. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Todd began his career as a New Product Development/R&D Engineer with Parker Hannifin Corporation. After seven years at Parker, he moved to Pittsburgh and joined Dormont Manufacturing Company as a Product Engineer. Following several years of increasing responsibility developing new products (including two product patents), he was promoted to begin his Business Development career as an International Business Manager/Sales Engineer for Dormont’s OEM Business Unit. After seven years of business growth, he was promoted to Watts Regional Sales Manager – North Central, focusing on Watts’ wholesale sales management. To take advantage of growing new technical product developments and his engineering background, in 2015 Todd was promoted to Business Development Manager to take responsibility for the Tempering category for the East Division.
