U.S. Water Prize 2022 Nominations Are Now Open

The U.S. Water Alliance is proud to announce that the nomination process for the U.S. Water Prize 2022 is now open.

Awarded on an annual basis, the U.S. Water Prize celebrates outstanding achievement in the advancement of sustainable, integrated, and inclusive solutions to our nation’s water challenges. It is the preeminent national recognition program for exemplary efforts to secure a sustainable water future for all.

The eight U.S. Water Prize categories for 2022 are:

  1. Organization: Public Sector
  2. Organization: Private Sector
  3. Organization: Nonprofit
  4. Organization: Cross-Sector Partnership or Coalition
  5. Individual: Outstanding One Water Communication
  6. Individual: Outstanding Public Official
  7. Individual: Outstanding Rising One Water Leader
  8. Individual: Outstanding Artist

All are welcome and encouraged to apply. Nomination forms can be found online here.

Winners of the U.S. Water Prize 2022 will be announced and recognized during the Alliance’s One Water Summit, held September 12–15 in Milwaukee. Nominations are due April 24, and winners will be chosen by an independent review panel of water experts.

The winner of the Water Prize for Outstanding Artist will also be awarded $5,000 to support continuing their work.
