Streamlined Global Evaluation Options with ICC-ES Now Include New Zealand

Product evaluation to the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) has been added to ICC Evaluation Service’s (ICC-ES) scope of accreditation with the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). Evaluation Appraisal Reports produced by ICC-ES can be used as evidence of compliance to the NZBC, streamlining the certification process for clients who wish to extend their market access internationally.

An ICC-ES report provides authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) with fit for purpose information needed to approve building products and systems for installation in New Zealand. Building product and system manufacturers can add an Appraisal Report as a supplement to an existing ICC-ES report.

“The ICC-ES Evaluation Appraisal Report provides a timely option for clients who wish to expand their products into the New Zealand market,” said ICC-ES Vice President of Sales and External Relations, Michael Temesvary, PE. “We look forward to helping our customers build their business in this region through the Appraisal Report program.”
