With the rivalry between tank and tankless water heaters building ever since the introduction of tankless into the North American market, Rinnai America Corp., the number-one seller of tankless gas water heaters in North America, has seen a continuous rise in misconceptions being spread within the plumbing industry. As a result, the company has announced the launch of a new Tankless Truths campaign, focused on dispelling certain myths associated with tankless water heaters.
As experts in tankless technology, Rinnai will leverage its industry expertise as well as its key strategic partnership with Matt Risinger, leading personality on the Build Show Network and owner of Risinger Homes in Austin, Texas, to highlight the inaccurate view of tankless not being an effective alternative to tank water heaters.
“At Rinnai, we’ve been improving upon the tankless technology for years, and we believe in its benefits to both our PROs and their customers,” states Frank Windsor, President, Rinnai America Corp. “We want to be sure PROs recognize the product’s positive attributes and that there are no misunderstandings when it comes to the technology.”
To dispel the myths and misperceptions associated with tankless water heaters, Rinnai will begin an educational campaign solely focused on clarifying common myths, such as tankless doesn’t work in cold climates or with hard water, it’s expensive to install, and it’s a technology that hasn’t been proven. These misperceptions and several more will be ousted via Matt Risinger’s channels, as he walks his viewers through each of the tankless misconceptions and the falsity behind them.
“I think there’s a lot of people who are not sure about this technology, which is why I am happy to help educate and spread awareness of the Rinnai Tankless Truths Campaign,” said Matt Risinger. “If you look at Rinnai’s lineup, I think there’s a lot of solutions that can make your customers happy.”
Rinnai’s brand promise of Creating a healthier way of living is at the forefront of all the company’s technology. By continuing to clarify myths and misperceptions of tankless units, Rinnai is aiding in providing homes and commercial buildings with energy-efficient hot water options for cleaner and healthier living.
