Registration Is Open for Pump Training Course in Nashville

Empowering Pumps & Equipment has partnered with Larry Bachus, The Pump Guy®, to offer an in-person training course that will take place over four days to provide operations and maintenance professionals an opportunity to learn about pump theory, pump design, pump maintenance, correct pump operation, troubleshooting, and issues around seal and bearing failures. The course will be held on May 5–8, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Nashville Southeast Antioch.

“All electronics, devices, and appliances considered to be reliable and provide good service do so because of proper design, application, operation, and maintenance. Likewise, reliable process pumps result from the combined effort of design, operations, and maintenance,” declares Larry Bachus, a professional trainer who has worked in the pump industry for more than 30 years. “Participants will leave the training with specific knowledge to eliminate mysterious pump failures, improve the running time and service life on a population of industrial pumps, and will gain skills that will contribute to process pump reliability.”

This course is designed for maintenance, process and production engineers, reliability engineers, design engineers, pump operators, mechanical maintenance technicians, instrumentation and process control technicians, and anyone associated with industrial pumps.

Registration for this seminar includes a continental breakfast, catered lunch and coffee, and soft drinks and juice at breaks. All participants will also receive Larry’s book, Everything You Need to Know About Pumps. This best-selling book is considered by many professionals to be the “go-to book” for process pump information.

The cost for the course is $2,000. You can learn more and register here.
