Record Number of Active Reports Puts ICC-ES PMG in Leading Position

The ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) Plumbing, Mechanical, and Fuel Gas (PMG) Listing Program has hit a milestone in the number of active reports—the highest in its history. The success is due to many factors, not least of which is interest in the program expressed by manufacturers who are looking for better acceptance and better service at a significantly lower cost.

ICC-ES PMG has been working hard over the past several years, establishing their name and mark as well as keeping clients happy once they decide to transfer. The ICC-ES PMG Transfer and Save program allows cost-conscious manufacturers to obtain a low-cost product certification from the most highly qualified, most credible certification body.

“The growth of the program has been very exciting and rewarding,” says Dawn La Fleur-Qualley, ICC-ES PMG Program Director. “We believe this tremendous growth is the result of the manufacturers choosing ICC-ES over others for their conformity assessment needs. They like us for not just the high-quality listing reports at affordable prices, but also for the acceptability of our mark of conformity in North America.”

The program certifies to the requirements of International, Uniform, and Canadian Codes and Standards. ICC-ES PMG is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), Standards Council of Canada (SCC), and ema to certify plumbing and mechanical products to Official Mexican Standards (NOMs). With this, the program offers listings to meet all manufacturer certification needs in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Through partnership with SAI Global, ICC-ES offers the WaterMark for Australia and New Zealand.

ICC-ES PMG is also licensed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to certify water-efficient products under the WaterSense® program and is approved by the City of Los Angeles. ICC-ES PMG is ready and available to address the needs of clients as it comes to the requirements set forth in the California AB 2060 as well as the upcoming appendix in NSF/ANSI/CAN 61.
