NIBCO Inc. has introduced its line of LD-3000 and LD-7000 Series large-diameter butterfly valves that offer enhanced performance with pressure ratings of 232 to 250 psi, depending on the size range.
LD-7000 and LD-3000 large-diameter butterfly valves are designed for commercial mechanical construction and general utility service applications. Constructed of ductile iron, the epoxy-coated valves feature a molded-in seat liner (available in either EPDM or NBR) that is rated for full pressure end-of-line service, a one-piece, high-strength, stainless steel stem, and a double-flanged U-section. The valves are ideal for HVAC, including condenser, chilled water and hot water heating, compressed air, vacuum service, and end-of-line service projects.
LD-7000 butterfly valves range in sizes from 14 to 60 inches, with a pressure rating of 232 psi, and are available with an option of aluminum bronze, nylon-coated ductile iron, and stainless-steel discs. LD-3000 butterfly valves range in sizes from 14 to 24 inches, with a pressure rating of 250 psi, and are available with an option of aluminum bronze and stainless-steel discs.
