Next Coffee with Caleffi on Mixing Valves Will Be Held on April 22

April 2021 Coffee with CaleffiThe next one-hour Coffee with Caleffi™ webinar will be “Optimizing Mixing Valves in DHW Systems” on April 22 at noon CDT.

Mixing valves are used every day in domestic hot water (DHW) systems. Whether designing a system with a mixing valve or servicing an existing installation, there are a number of considerations to ensure accurate control of the water temperature. Don’t let the mixing valve be a go-to fall guy when expectations aren’t met.

Caleffi Training Manager Cody Mack will help attendees design, install, and maintain a trouble-free DHW application by explaining:

  • Recirculation creep and how it is prevented
  • The purpose of a maximum pressure differential between hot and cold on a mixing valve
  • Low-flow considerations
  • The impact of water quality on a valve
  • How to set the source to achieve a 120°F mixed temperature
  • Cv and how it is applied

Code Mack has nearly 20 years’ experience as installation contractor, service technician, application engineer, and most recently training manager for Caleffi. He pounds the pavement educating Boomers, Gen-X’ers, Millennials, and beyond. When not on the road, he’s often in the Caleffi lab experimenting with product design solutions. Attendees will appreciate his thoughtful delivery and common sense product approach.

Registration is available here.
