A leader in the plumbing fixture trim industry for more than 66 years, McGuire Manufacturing Co. Inc. has announced that their patented mechanical integral check angle stop, the ICV Defender™, has received ASME A112.18.3 certification.
The ICV Defender™ angle stop is a spring-actuated integral check valve that was introduced in July 2020 to address cross-connection contamination and backflow. The ICV Defender™ is manufactured to the same specification as McGuire’s heavy pattern angle stops and is available in IPS, sweat, and compression connections.
