To be receiving an award that bears her name is humbling, to say the least. To me, the meaning of this award is an acknowledgement and a promise. It’s an acknowledgement of the importance to further the careers and foster the professional growth of women in our workplaces, and it’s a promise to our daughters that we’ll continue to work toward providing opportunities in which they can thrive.”

Regarding Robyn’s impact on women in the industry, Liberty Pumps Marketing Communications Manager Laurie Pfaff said, “With Robyn as a role model, along with her personal mentorship, many women have more confidence to seek advancement, which has led to an increased number of women on the leadership team at Liberty Pumps.”

Speaking about the importance of the award, ASA Women in Industry Chairwoman Rebecca Falish (InSinkErator) said, “The Alice A. Martin Woman of the Year award is essential to our industry because it recognizes the efforts required behind the scenes every day to help women in our industry emerge confident and qualified.
