Jason Jackson Announced as Incoming Chair of the Canadian Hydronics Council

Jason Jackson, Fleming College, was announced as the incoming Chair of CHC  at the Canadian Hydronics Council Annual Meeting held virtually on June 23.

Jason has been at Fleming College in various roles including Professor, Mechanical Trades, Academic Chair, and Acting Dean for the Schools of Trades and Technology and the School of Business.

With a 20+ year career in the water/wastewater and energy sectors as a Licensed Plumber, Licensed Pump Installer Mechanic, Municipal Water Systems Operator, Backflow and Cross Connection Specialist, Well Technician, CWQA Master Water Specialist, LEED Green Associate, and Refrigeration Plant Operator, he offers an extensive and broad-range skill set in both trades and technology automation.

Jason has provided curriculum development and delivery both in class and online related to various topics for students, governments, businesses, and organizations across North America including Walkerton Clean Water Center, Canadian Water Quality Association, Canadian Hydronics Council, Water Quality Association USA, Viega Trades Education Network, Canadian First Nations, Canadian Armed Forces, and municipalities on a national level.

Jason is very active in industry and government. As Past President of the Canadian Water Quality Association and incoming Chair for the Canadian Hydronics Council, he brings an extensive industry network related to water both provincially and federally.

Jason brings an energetic and collaborative approach to leadership, education, and student learning.
