GF Piping Systems has announced the appointment of Edwin Gonzalez, CPD, as Piping Systems Specialist for the southeast region of the U.S.
Gonzalez brings with him more than 35 years of experience in plumbing system design, project management, and construction. He attended Hartford Technical College in Connecticut and Seminole State College in Central Florida and attained his Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) credential from the American Society of Plumbing Engineers in 1996. He is a former Chapter President and current board member for the Central Florida ASPE Chapter.
“It has been an honor to have worked with so many great individuals throughout my career while building on my plumbing systems design knowledge,” says Gonzalez. “I’m very excited to have joined Georg Fischer and I look forward to introducing its many great products to the industry while helping customers meet today’s design, construction, and health challenges.”
Prior to joining GF Piping Systems, Gonzalez designed plumbing systems for large complex commercial and institutional facilities. “We’re very pleased to have Edwin on board,” said Greg Swafford, Technical Sales Manager at GF Piping Systems. “His depth of experience, knowledge, and management capabilities will complement our growing team of technical experts.”
