Every few weeks, ASPE will interview one of our amazing members to help you “Get to Know” them. Here, we are pleased to introduce Jenny Rilling, LEED AP, CPDT, a member of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter.
ASPE: What book do you recommend everyone should read?
Jenny: Dune.
Why?
It’s a sci-fi classic that remains very fresh and relevant.
ASPE: If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?
Jenny: I’ve always wanted to go to Macchu Picchu; it looks so beautiful.
ASPE: What is your greatest accomplishment outside of your career?
Jenny: My six- and three-year-old kids.
ASPE: What are your hobbies outside of work?
Jenny: Bicycling and gardening — especially growing different varieties of orchids.
ASPE: Do you have a favorite vacation spot? Where is it and why do you keep going back?
Jenny: Not the same spot, but I love visiting national parks.
ASPE: Are you a movie buff?
Jenny: Yes, I love movies.
What is your favorite movie?
The Big Lebowski is one of my favorites.
ASPE: What is your favorite holiday and why?
Jenny: I love Halloween because of the creativity. This year I dressed up as the “Berries & Cream Lad” from the Starburst commercial.
ASPE: Would you rather win the lottery or work at the perfect job?
Jenny: Work at the perfect job.
