The application period for DiscoverE’s 2022 Engineers Week outreach grants is now open. The following grant opportunities are designed to support volunteer and educator efforts to inspire the next generation of innovators through hands-on exploration of engineering.
- Engineers Week Outreach Grant: DiscoverE’s Engineers Week Outreach Grants support activities and events that engage the next generation of innovators and are hosted as part of a local organization’s Engineers Week celebrations. Events or activities that focus on underserved audiences and feature hands-on engineering experiences are encouraged. Grants range from $250 to $1,000.
- Bell Girl Day Grant: Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (Girl Day) is an annual campaign that takes place during Engineers Week in the U.S. with the intention of introducing girls to the fascinating world of engineering. The Bell Girl Day Grants are awarded to help make possible Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day events taking place on and around Girl Day.
