Cleveland Chapter Member Is Appointed Principal by Scheeser Buckley Mayfield

John Varga, PEWe are pleased to announce that Cleveland Chapter member John Varga, PE, has been promoted to Principal/Mechanical-Plumbing Engineer by Scheeser Buckley Mayfield, a respected regional civil, electrical, mechanical, technology, forensics, and commissioning consulting engineering firm serving clients in Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding states.

John began his engineering career working for a manufacturer of precast concrete wastewater treatment plants where he was responsible for the design, layout, production, and installation drawings for and volume calculations of extended aeration sewage treatment plants and pump stations. John joined the Plumbing Department of Scheeser Buckley Mayfield in May of 1999. He has performed calculations sizing water lines, sanitary lines, booster pumps, water heaters, mixing valves, natural gas/propane systems, medical gas systems, and fire protection systems. John is well versed in Ohio building codes, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes, and county and city codes and has been the lead plumbing engineer on several large projects with centralized plumbing systems.

John joined ASPE in 2004 and has been President of the Cleveland Chapter since 2014.
