The WateReuse Association invites proposals for presentations at the 37th Annual WateReuse Symposium in San Antonio on March 5–9, 2022 and on the WateReuse virtual conference platform. The Annual WateReuse Symposium is the nation’s premier conference on water recycling—attracting more than 800 water professionals globally for knowledge sharing, networking, and intriguing discussions. The event is planned in collaboration with the Water Research Foundation (WRF) and will include engaging sessions on the latest reuse-related research projects. To augment the live experience, plenaries and technical sessions will be recorded and posted to the WateReuse virtual conference platform following the live event.
WateReuse invites water reuse experts, practitioners, researchers, and young professionals to submit presentation proposals for technical sessions that stimulate and provoke discussion, facilitate knowledge transfer and the development of competencies, and challenge attendees to think of new and innovative ways to incorporate water recycling into water management strategies.
The 37th WateReuse Symposium’s theme, Water Reuse: Shaping Our Past and Charting Our Future, is a call to action for the water reuse community to tap into innovation to address the urgency of our changing earth (floods, fires, droughts, pandemics). Technical sessions and roundtable discussions with breakout sessions will examine:
- Water recycling projects across life-cycle phases
- Innovation in water reuse to meet future water challenges
- Project partnerships across industries and geographic regions
- Resiliency and equity in water reuse
Presentation proposals will be accepted through November 1, 2021. Presenters will be notified of their selection by December 22, 2021. To participate, presenters must be present in San Antonio and agree for WateReuse to record live presentations for the virtual environment. Registration for the event will open in October 2021. All presenters and panelists must register and submit their PowerPoint slides by February 17, 2022. The event will be March 5–9, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas.
