CALEFFI S.p.A. Celebrates Its 60th Anniversary

In 1961, Francesco Caleffi, a determined and visionary entrepreneur, founded Caleffi, a small company supplying brass and steel components for the taps, fittings, and valves industry. Sixty years have gone by. Today Caleffi S.p.A. (Fontaneto d’Agogna, Italy), with more than 1,300 employees, 10 production plants in Italy, and 20 sales offices worldwide, has grown into a group operating in more than 90 countries. Its core values, which have been handed down over the years, have remained the same: work, commitment, research, development, love for the local area, attention to detail, and “Italian-ness.” These are the foundations on which the company continues to build the Caleffi of the future.

Caleffi is proud to celebrate such an important anniversary. The fact that Caleffi has achieved this milestone is also because the company is in constant dialogue with its customers and suppliers.

Throughout all of these years, Caleffi has acquired its flowing expertise—a flow of skills, technology, experience, and innovations—that has allowed it to become a benchmark manufacturer of components for hydronic heating and cooling and domestic water systems. For Caleffi, as for its founder, selling means guiding customers when it comes to making technical choices, anticipating their needs, and finding the best solutions.

In the last 60 years, Caleffi has gone through eras, trends, and events, but this last year has certainly been the most challenging. Caleffi has invested in the local community because of its strong and endearing connection with the area. For Caleffi, ensuring excellence also means focusing on the local community, promoting social responsibility and respect for humanity. The company intends to serve as a driving force for other selfless efforts, since the best results can only be achieved by working together.

Caleffi’s greatest wish is to be able to continue to do business as usual in its market by leveraging the solidity, maturity, reliability, and knowledge that it has gained in these first 60 years—all with the same desire to accomplish what Francesco Caleffi taught and his son Marco, who now leads the group, continues to inspire.
