AYP Presents the Leadership Development Webinar Series

The three-part Leadership Development Webinar Series presented by ASPE Young Professionals (AYP) includes interactive learning and seeks to create confidence in the use of conflict resolution tools. Each webinar will increase the participant’s knowledge and confidence in how to resolve conflict and seek opportunities within the situation. This series is catered to the young professional, but any engineer or designer at any stage in their career will find use in these webinars.

The three webinars in this series are:

  • Defining Your Leadership and Management Skills: Self-awareness, vulnerability, and recognition are foundational elements of defining a functional leadership approach. This webinar will walk you through different exercises to help you hone these skills and reach your goals.
  • Addressing Friction Points to Build a Stronger Team: Most friction points and conflict arise from unmet needs and lack of action to fulfill these needs. Dive into the most common workplace needs and tools to help resolve conflict in this webinar.
  • Communication for More Impactful Teams: We all tend to communicate in the way most comfortable to us, rather than translating what we’re trying to get across into our peers’ best form of communication. This webinar provides different communication approaches to create more impact and get your message across with less friction.

You can register for the series or individual on-demand webinars. If you wish to register for all three webinars, register for one webinar (free for ASPE Members, $200 for nonmembers) and start the checkout process, and after registration you’ll gain access to all three webinars. This series does not award any CEUs.
