The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) completed its 92nd annual Education and Business Conference online at the end of September, and during the opening session, IAPMO honored individuals who have gone above and beyond on behalf of the association. The following ASPE members received awards from IAPMO for 2021:
- 20-Plus Years of Committee Membership: John Richard “Dick” Wagner, PE
- Government Person of the Year: Thomas C. Pitcherello, CET, New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Codes and Standards Division
At the 2021 ASSE International Annual Meeting held online early in October, ASSE distributed its annual awards, and the following ASPE members were recognized:
- Fellow (FASSE) Award: Jaime Valdivia
- Patrick J. Higgins Award: Chris Haldiman
