The International Code Council (ICC) recently announced that ASPE Philadelphia Chapter member Shawn Strausbaugh has taken over as lead of the Government Relations PMG Team at ICC. As Senior Director of PMG Technical Resources, Strausbaugh will oversee ICC’s government relations PMG technical experts and work to promote safe, effective, and affordable plumbing codes and standards globally.
Shawn will work closely with Matt Sigler, who will transition from Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) to the role of ICC PMG Executive Director, effective July 6. In this role at ICC, Matt will lead a team of subject matter experts and business managers from all parts of the ICC family of solutions to advance strategic goals in support of manufacturers and stakeholders.
