ASHRAE Seeks Input on New Energy Design Guide

In partnership with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), and U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), and with support from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), ASHRAE is developing a new series of Advanced Energy Design Guides focusing on achieving zero energy performance. The committee has completed the second and final peer review draft for the Advanced Energy Design Guide for Multifamily Buildings: Achieving Zero Energy and is now accepting input from interested parties.

The 90% Complete Technical Refinement Draft will be available for review and feedback until noon (EDT) on Monday, March 9, 2020 to ensure that the committee will be able to consider the feedback. Once received, the input will be compiled and then reviewed by the committee who will make changes to the draft based on that input.

To participate in the review, please download the review process instructions and review input form as well as a copy of the document for review.

More information about the Advanced Energy Design Guides and free downloads can be found at ashrae.org/technical-resources/aedgs.
