2023 WateReuse Symposium Opens Call for Presentations

2023 WateReuse SymposiumThe annual WateReuse Symposium is the premier conference on water recycling—attracting more than 800 water professionals globally for knowledge-sharing, networking, and intriguing discussions. Next year it will be held in Atlanta on March 5–8 with the theme of “Reimagining Water Together.”

The co-collaborators—the WateReuse Association and Water Research Foundation—invite water recycling thought leaders, practitioners, researchers, and early career professionals to share their expertise and advice by submitting presentation proposals for the 2023 WateReuse Symposium. WateReuse is looking for fresh proposals emphasizing the essential role of water recycling in future water management and community resiliency. Presentation proposals should address one or more of the following focus areas and subtopics and identify what life cycle phase of a reuse project the presentation best supports.

  • Implications of PFAS in reuse
  • Agricultural reuse and irrigation
  • Onsite reuse and decentralized systems
  • Potable reuse innovations
  • Policies advancing water recycling
  • Innovation and emerging research
  • Industrial and commercial reuse
  • Environmental mitigation, climate resiliency, and adaptation
  • Advancing reuse in small or underrepresented communities
  • Communications, outreach, and education
  • System operations and workforce development
  • Water resources planning, governance, and management

Presentation proposals will be accepted through September 30, 2022. Presenters will be notified of their selection by November 18, 2022. Visit the WateReuse Association’s website for more details on submitting a proposal.
