Industry Award Nomination Form

The ASPE Industry Award is presented biennially, when merited, to a company or companies for Outstanding Service to the Advancement of Plumbing Engineering Technology. Previous recipients of this award are: Bradford White Water Heaters and Charlotte Pipe & Foundry Company (2022); McWane Plumbing Group and Quantum Flo (2020); Delta (2018); Watts Water Technologies and Zurn (2016); Lubrizol Corporation (2014); Patterson Pump Company (2012); Armstrong Hot Water (2010); Viega (2008); Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company (2006); Toto USA (2006); T–Drill Industries Inc. (2004); Syncroflo Inc. (2002); Sloan Valve Company (2000); Bell & Gossett, ITT Industries (1998); Jay R. Smith Manufacturing Company (1996); Symmons Industries (1994); Plumbing Manufacturers Institute (1992); Milwaukee Valve (1984); Bradley Corporation (1980); American Standard (1974); Copper Development Co. (1972) Any ASPE member may nominate a company (including their own) for this award. Previous award recipients are re-eligible for nomination five years after the date of their award. The ASPE board of directors will make the final determination at its 2024 board meeting. At the 2024 ASPE Convention, the ASPE president will announce the recipient of the prestigious ASPE Industry Award at the banquet. All nominees should have someone available to accept the award on behalf of their company. Winning companies will be asked to provide a full-page article about their company, its history, and current and future plans (with pictures). The ASPE board looks forward to your company’s participation. Completed forms should be sent to the ASPE office by June 30, 2024.

Please use one form for each nomination regarding a specific product, service, or technology advancement. Be sure to upload a picture and include brochure, marketing, or other information providing validity or evidence of product, service, or advancement.

The advancement of plumbing engineering technology shall be defined for this award to be any new product, product enhancement/advancement, any service (improved/new), or any technology (improved/new) that provides for increased efficiency/effectiveness in performance by a plumbing engineer/designer or results in specific technological advancement. Improved efficiency or effectiveness shall include items such as reduced costs of construction, engineering or design; improved efficiency of engineering or design criteria; enhanced tools for efficiency of engineering and design; and products or services (new or improved) that provide specific technological advancement.
