ASPE Announces the Recipients of the 2022 Alfred Steele Scholarship

Each year, ASPE awards up to $3,000 in scholarship monies to help upcoming industry professionals earn their degrees. The scholarship is named in honor of Alfred Steele, PE, a long-time member of ASPE and a visionary and pioneer in advocating education and professional development for plumbing engineers and designers.

This year, we are pleased to announce that three scholarships were awarded:

  • Javier C. Rodriguez, son of Chicago Chapter member Javier Rodriguez, CPD, received $2,000 to pursue a degree in Architectural Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
  • Kevin Inman, a member of the Oklahoma Chapter, received $1,000 to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tulsa.
  • Nathan Franklin, a member of the Oklahoma Chapter, received $1,000 to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University.

Congratulations all!
