New legislation authorizes WaterSense in perpetuity
On October 23, President Trump signed S. 3021, America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2018, which statutorily imbeds the WaterSense program into U.S. law and provides for investments in water infrastructure improvements throughout the country.

EPA to sunset the WaterSense specification for pre-rinse spray valves
Because there is limited opportunity for additional water savings beyond new DOE regulations, which require the flow rate and spray force to be determined in accordance with ASTM F2324, WaterSense will cease labeling pre-rinse spray valves on January 1, 2019. More>>
