Volunteers Needed for Water Pipe Sizing Standard Technical Committee
ASPE is looking for volunteers to help develop a new ASPE standard on water pipe sizing, especially engineers and CPDs with knowledge in fluid dynamics and pipe flow characteristics and velocity limitations. Committee members must be able to contribute to the standard in several aspects, including some knowledge of different pipe sizing methods. The targeted timeline is the end of the summer to finish the draft, so members need to be willing to work in a timely manner. Most if not all of the work will be done over the Internet to save time and expenses. Are you interested? If so, please fill out an application. If you have questions, contact Committee Chair Jim Shepherd (317-213-4329).
