This webinar focuses on the different types of electric heat tracing available, the benefits of self-regulating heating cables, and how to design and optimize a complete electric heat trace system. Hear about the effects of pipe material, insulation types and thickness, and fluid material. Additionally, discussion topics include electrical requirements and national codes.

The Presenters: Sean McDaniel and Mark Hall

Sean McDaniel: Currently Sean works as a Regional Manager for Pentair’s Business and Infrastructure Division. In this role he is able to help a larger field of the engineering and construction community with his creative, efficient approach to real world engineering of heat trace systems design and implementation. Sean’s cumulative experience and expertise allows him to understand the entire construction process from conceptual design, through construction, and ending with project turnover.

Mark Hall: Mark graduated from the University of Houston in 1985. Mark earned his BA in Business Management and currently resides in Pittsburgh. Mark has developed his knowledge with the plumbing industry from 18 years as an application engineer at Emerson Electric, and 8 years with Pentair Thermal Management. He is currently working under the role of Regional Sales Manager for Pentair Thermal Management.
