Join ASPE and IAPMO for this exciting two-day workshop. This special workshop has been designed for those who are interested in gaining knowledge in performing green plumbing design work, to design systems that conserve and protect water supplies and reduce energy consumption in the delivery and use of water. CPD certification or PE license is required to enroll.
This two-day workshop will cover:
- Water conservation measures
- Developing and advising on residential plumbing conservation measures
- Identifying and advising on efficient technology measures
- Preparing for a domestic plumbing inspection report
- Undertaking a commercial or residential plumbing inspection report
- Performing calculations
- Developing product knowledge and recommendations
A 50-question open-book exam will test your knowledge of the information that was presented during the workshop. Successfully passing the exam will provide you with the honor of the GPD certificate designation. If you register for both the 2019 ASPE Tech Symposium and Green Plumbing Design Workshop, you will receive 15% off the workshop registration fee! The workshop is open to the first 25 qualified candidates that register. Please bring your own laptop.

This year brings AYP’s third biennial AYP Leadership Academy titled “Next Level Leadership” and this year you won’t want to miss out. The program begins with a keynote address by Tony Wilcox, the Vice President, Product Management & Engineering at Zurn. Tony will share about his leadership journey and lessons learned along the way from his time at Zurn and Harley-Davidson. The program continues with an interactive and dynamic full day of leadership development by David Colarossi, Ph.D and Rob Patterson, Ph.D of Colarelli, Meyer & Associates, Inc. Kick off the 2019 ASPE Tech Symposium with a special party on the Empress River Boat. Join your fellow attendees at this one-of-a-kind venue that includes music, drinks, food, and dancing! Entrance is complimentary for those registered for the full Symposium. Individual tickets will not be sold onsite. Complimentary shuttle services will be provided.

Join ASPE AYP members for a night of friendly competition and libations at this year’s AYP Networking Event. Being held at the exclusive Penn Society Social Club, join fellow young professionals and test your trivia knowledge at this member’s only social club in downtown Pittsburgh. Pre-registration is required and the event is expected to sell out. Must be 35 years old or younger and be registered for the 2019 Tech Symposium. This event is ticketed and costs $25 per person and is limited to 50 attendees.
