Patterson Pumps’ Brian Henry Appointed Affiliate Liaison to the ASPE Board of Directors
The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) is pleased to announce that Brian Henry, Marketing Manager of Patterson Pump Company and an Affiliate Member of ASPE, has been appointed Affiliate Liaison to the ASPE Board of Directors. His appointment comes after Billy Smith, former ASPE Vice President, Affiliate, stepped down from his position earlier this year.
“Billy has always been known for his loyal service and hard work on behalf of ASPE, and we’re extremely thankful for his help in making ASPE more responsive to the needs of our Affiliate Members over the years,” says ASPE President William F. Hughes Jr., CPD, LEED AP, FASPE.
As part of his new position, Brian also was named Chair of ASPE’s Exhibitors Advisory Committee (EAC), which is comprised of representatives of the manufacturers that exhibit at ASPE’s biennial Engineered Plumbing Exposition and provides the ASPE Board of Directors and staff with insight into the most effective and efficient methods to ensure a successful Exposition. Brian has been a member of the EAC since 2002, and he has 23 years of experience in the pump industry. In addition to ASPE, Brian is a member of AHRI and NFPA.
“Brian is an excellent choice to serve in this position,” says Smith, Area Manager for Jay R. Smith and Acorn Engineering in Montgomery, Alabama. “His knowledge cultivated as a member of the ASPE Exhibitors Advisory Committee will be invaluable in helping the ASPE Board of Directors serve the needs of ASPE’s Affiliate Members.”
“I am very happy to be working more closely with Brian due to our long-standing and positive relationship,” says David Jern, ASPE’s Director of Affiliate Relations. “His insight will help me better perform my role as ASPE’s first line of communication with our Affiliate Members.”
