COMPUTERWORKSHOPSYOUGETTHEFEEBACK!

To meet the ever changing technology needs of today's plumbing engineer, there will be a special program of hands–on
computer workshops. To provide hands-on computer experience to each participant, these intensive workshops will only
accommodate a limited number of participants.

These sessions will be provided on a first–come basis. Therefore, there will be a special $10.00 additional registration fee for
each of these sessions. However, each participant that attends the program, will receive a $10 ASPE coupon that can be spent
at the ASPE Pavilion (coupons good only during the Convention).

These workshops arefor the intermediate and advanced participant. Programs will includeExcel fortheengineer, presenta-
tions anduseofPowerPoint,and unraveling the mysteryof theInternet and related programs.

stages of the Medical Gas (MedGas) pipesizing software update. Some of you may remember when the Foundation
issued the original sizing program backin the early nineties.It was atimein thecomputerindustrywhere “UserFriendly”
was not necessarily abuzzword. The new softwarewill bea Windows Based programwith “Pull-Down”menus forease
ofapplication.You’ll behearing more about this program andhow youcanobtain your owncopy in the verynear future.

TheFoundationis finalizingtheprotocol forresearchonAir AdmittanceValves (AAV)tostudytheireffectonventand
waste systems.TheRFP’s will be going out soonwith hopes that this researchcanbegin beforetheendoftheyear.
TheFoundationis “Off and Running”. Watchfor continuedupdates on current andfutureresearch. As always, we’re
