The ASPEResearchFoundation Board ofDirectors held its last BoardofDirectors meetingFriday andSaturday, May 3-4,
2002inHouston,Texas.ThiswasanespeciallyimportantmeetingastheBoardofDirectorsselectstheannualslateof
officersandnamesreplacementdirectors.ThenewResearchFoundationofficersare:KennethG.Wentink,P.E.,CPD,
President; Robert L. Love, P.E.,CIPE, Treasurer and Patrick L. Whitworth, CPD, Secretary. The remaining board members,
David Chin, P.E., CPD, Donald F. Dickerson, P.E., CIPE, will be Vice-Presidents. The foundation also elected a newmember
to serve on the board. Heis Craig W. Selover of theDeltaFaucet Company. Craig will serve on theRF Board of Directors as
a Vice-President.
Gerrit vanStraten,immediateRFpast president, had beenamemberofthe RF Boardforthepast sevenyears.Dueto
bylawrestrictions,Mr.vanStraten’s secondtermwas completedandhewas ineligibleto continue as amember oftheRF
Board of Directors. Gerrit’s contribution to the Foundation is un-measurable andwe sincerely thank him forhis dedication.
He will be missed.
