ASPE's History

The History of ASPE

The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) was founded in 1964 as an organization dedicated to the advancement of the plumbing engineering profession. In this history, learn how it grew from a group of less than 50 individuals in Los Angeles to an international Society of more than 7,000 members. Find out when chapters were incorporated, books were published, bylaws were changed, and other major milestones. If you would like to add to the history or make a suggestion, please contact Gretchen Pienta at gpienta@aspe.org.
